Travis Lybbert (2016-17)

Travis Lybbert is a professor of agricultural and resource economics. His research focuses on the microeconomics of development, risk and technology diffusion. Two secondary research areas include environment and climate change and California agriculture with a methodological emphasis on experimental economics.

Travis's most recent book, Essentials of Development Economics (UC Press, 2015) provides students with critical tools used in today’s development economics research and practice. He earned her Ph.D. in applied economics at Cornell University.

With Monique Burgerhoff Mulder, Mark Lubell and Peter Richerson, Travis Lybbert will lead a Winter 2017 Proseminar entitled Experimental Economic Games.
