This one-day conference, hosted by ISS in the ARC Ballroom on Friday, January 27, 2017, brought scholars from multiple disciplines together with policy activists, journalists, and individuals connected to the legislative environment to explore U.S. immigration policy since 9/11 and address the implications for immigration policy of the Trump presidency.

As the debate regarding the so-called replication crisis in social science continues, the Making Social Science Transparent conference (hosted by ISS on April 22, 2016) provided a timely opportunity to tackle the issue head-on. Scholars from an array of institutions and fields convened to assess the extent of the problem, and to develop paths towards lasting solutions.
